Delta Provenance

Delta-grown golden fiber

Harvested along the Brahmaputra silt plains, our raw jute dries under open delta skies without chemical accelerators or synthetic sizing.

Seasonal Harvest

Slow water retting

Every August, monsoon inundation creates slow-moving freshwater pools along the riverbanks. Stalks submerge for twenty days while natural biological activity separates the exterior bark from the inner bast fibers without caustic additives.

Artisan teams peel the fiber ribbons by hand, washing each bundle in running river currents. Sun drying cures the cellulose structure, preserving the high tensile strength required for dense commercial floorware and heavyweight storage weaves.

European inspection

Submerged in seasonal floodwaters to release pure golden cellulose fibers naturally without chemical intervention.

Carded raw strands spun onto timber spindles, retaining natural variations in grain, tone, and tactile texture.

Handloom shuttles build tight structural ribs, producing dense floor runners and storage pieces built for years of use.

Finished rolls undergo density checks and moisture verification before dispatch from our Rotterdam logistics hub.

Mill Standards

Direct artisan partnerships

Our weaving centers operate under documented fair-compensation agreements across regional Bengal districts. By eliminating local commission brokers, we fund year-round health access and verified wage baselines across all family-operated loom houses.

Master weavers preserve heritage timber pit-loom setups while fulfilling uniform dimensional tolerances required by European interior specifiers and independent retail shops.

Architectural grade textiles
